CTH 676: NERİK KENTİ “ARINMA RİTÜELİ”

Abstract
Our research includes the documents and their contents of the CTH 676 Purification Ritual of Nerik as well as philological assessments. It is evaluated that luri- word mentioned in such documents can describe a “deep disaster” lived in the historical process of the city. The textual group of cult practices for the purification of the city of Nerik is an example of the continuity of Hatti-Hittite religious traditions.
