Abstract
The article discusses the activities of Rev. Dr. Bolesław Domański, a priest of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic parish in Zakrzewo between 1903–1939. It presents his achievements in the struggle to preserve the Polish identity on Polish terri- tories incorporated into Germany after the end of World War I. It also discusses social and educational activities of the priest and the influence of his steadfast attitude on the increase of national awareness of Poles, who bravely fought to preserve the Polish identity in the region of Złotów and bring the region back to homeland.
