A Case Of Sjögren’s Syndrome Diagnosed As Systemic Lupus Erythematosis Due To Anti-Fosfolipid Antibody Positivity During Follow Up

Journal Title: GENEL TIP DERGISI - Year 2018, Vol 28, Issue 4

Abstract

Clinically in connective tissue diseases may settle years after autoantibody positivity, and new autoantibody positivity may develop over time. For this reason, it may be useful to repeat to evaluate all symptoms and signs of connective tissue diseases and repeat serology if necessary, following the patients. We presented a 40-year-old woman who had been diagnosed with Sjögren's Syndrome for 5 years than developed anti-phospholipid antibody positivity, and was diagnosed as Systemic Lupus Erythematosis.
