A Case With Neurological Complications After Coronary Angiography

Journal Title: Journal of Neurological Sciences-Turkish - Year 2006, Vol 23, Issue 4

Abstract

Neurological complications are rarely seen after coronary angiography. The incidence of neurological complications seen after coronary angiography is reported as between 0.3% and 0.06% (3,2). These complications are transient ischemic attacks, amorosis fugax, transient cortical blindness and focal neurologic symptoms. In this study, a case with transient cortical blindness and focal neurological symptoms developing after coronary angiography has been reported.
