A COMPREHENSIVE APPROACH TO HEISENBERG’S UNCERTAINTY PRINCIPLE

Abstract

The traditional problems of physics can and should become a powerful tool for activating the learning process. Such problematic questions also exist in quantum mechanics, which describes the wave processes associated with microparticles moving at high velocities, de Broglie waves, which are particles and waves simultaneously. However, there is no explanation of what kind of oscillations occurs with a particle that moves uniformly at a constant velocity v. The paper analyzes the physical meaning of Heisenberg’s uncertainty, which means the impossibility of simultaneous exact knowledge of the particle’s coordinate and its momentum (“momentum”). The problem is that a particle must be accelerated to a speed v, but its kinetic energy increases with the action of the force. Since there is a relationship between energy and mass, then this means that when the energy of the body changes, the mass changes also. During acceleration, the mass grows. The mechanism of the oscillatory process is triggered as a result. The type is ΔW → Δm → ΔW → Δm → ... Therefore, not only a particle is simply moving, but a specific particle is moving forward in an oscillatory state. Since the mass of a particle changes continuously, its momentum (“momentum”) changes accordingly. It causes the uncertainty of a coordinate and “momentum” when the particle moves.
