A Data Driven Approach of Modelling and Parameter Estimation of Boiler Drum Subsystem Dynamics
Journal Title: International Journal of Mechanical and Production Engineering Research and Development (IJMPERD ) - Year 2019, Vol 9, Issue 1
Abstract
A nonlinear dynamic model of the boiler drum level system is estimated from plant data. The identified models describe the dynamic behaviour of the subsystem under a given operating condition. Both linear and nonlinear models are estimated and compared for the validation of the model. The model is simulated and results are presented. The effect of load variation on the drum level changes from time to time with respect to power demand posing a challenge on drum level control. The presented model provides a dynamic model derived from real plant data which can be effectively used for the design of model based control schemes.

The Mathematical Modelling and Performance Evaluation of Paint Manufacturing System using Fuzzy Reliability Approach
In the present paper, we present a novel method for performance evaluation of a paint manufacturing plant in which five subsystems are connected in series configuration. The mathematical modelling of the system is carrie...
Singularity Analysis of Kuka 6 DOF Robot for Motion Simulation
Robot Singularity is a Point in work envelope, where the Robot loses its ability to move in some direction, and therefore, in simulation automatically selects and takes a path that is different. So the user has to adjust...
Design and Analysis of Helical Gear using Solid works and ANSYS Softwares
Gears are one of the important parts and that are indispensable for mechanical power transmission systems. There are many stresses that can cause failure in gears in mechanical transmission systems. Bending Stress is one...
FEA Analysis and Optimization of Two-Wheeler Bike Mono Suspension System
Most of the Indian roads are pathetic in nature and 2 wheelers are the worst hit of this. So it is very essential to have a very good suspension system for the 2 wheeler to avoid accidents and improve the ride quality Th...
Chemical and Water Absorption Behaviour of Hardwickia Binata Fiber Reinforced Composites
In recent years Natural fiber reinforced polymer composites have been used in the engineering applications. Composite materials possess high strength to weight ratio, and due to these facts composite materials are becomi...
