A função arquivÃstica de avaliação documental no software livre de gestão documental Nuxeo

Abstract
The paper presents the study of the Free Software of Document Management Nuxeo front to implementation the archival function of document appraisal. The analysis of the tool allowed the researchers to verify the installation procedure, pointing out the difficulties and barriers for the archivists who want to install this solution. Considering the theory about function of document appraisal, it was attempted to analyze the application to theory the three ages. Through the examination of Nuxeo’s features it was possible to identify that the software doesn't automatically apply the document appraisal function. It concludes that this tool, in spite of not being an archival solution, can be used for the document management electronic since it presents in its structure some metadata for the document appraisal. The analysis this document management software, under the bias archival, allowed to approximate the archivist to Information Technology and ensure to access future to digital information.
