A Mixed Finite Element Method for Elasticity Problem
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Computer Science & Applications - Year 2013, Vol 4, Issue 2
Abstract
This paper describes a numerical solution for plane elasticity problem. It includes algorithms for discretization by mixed finite element methods. The discrete scheme allows the utilization of Brezzi - Douglas - Marini element (BDM1) for the stress tensor and piecewise constant elements for the displacement. The numerical results are compared with some previously published works or with others coming from commercial code like ABAQUS.

An Ensemble of Fine-Tuned Heterogeneous Bayesian Classifiers
Bayesian network (BN) classifiers use different structures and different training parameters which leads to diversity in classification decisions. This work empirically shows that building an ensemble of several fine-tun...
