A multinomial logistic regression model for text in Albanian language
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN MATHEMATICS - Year 2016, Vol 12, Issue 7
Abstract
In this paper we present a multinomial logistic regression model for authorship identification in the Albanian language texts. In the model fitted the dependent variable is categorical which takes different values from 1 to 10 for each of the author and the independent variables are number of words, number of letters, number of vowels, number of consonants, number of punctuations and number of sentences for each text. The model was applied with success in the set of ten authors, each of them being represented by a set of one hundred texts they authored. As results first, second and the third authors have the higher correct predicted percentage and the highest overall correct predicted probability taken was 0.738. As conclusion adding in the model number of consonants, number of punctuations and number of sentences as independent variables the overall correct predicted percentage is increased.

An Intriguing Approach to The Fractional Mellin Transform Method
We propose an adapted Mellin transform method that gives the solution of a fractional di ¤erential equation with variable coefficients in ordinary domain. After we mention a transformation of cosmic time to individual ti...
Higher dimensional fixed point results in complete ordered metric spaces.
The aim of this paper is to define the concept of compatible maps for n-tupled maps, a new notion propounded by M.Imdad et.al.[13] and prove n-tupled coincidence and n-tupled fixed point theorems in partially ordered met...
Basis of Hecke algebras - associated to Coxeter groups - via matrices of inversion for permutations
Applying the matrices of inversion for permutations, we show that every element of S_{n} associates a unique canonical word in the Hecke algebra H_{n-1}(z). That provides an effective and simple algorithm for counting a...
Common Fixed Point for Weakly Compatible Mappings on Dislocated Metric Spaces.
In this paper we prove a common fixed point theorem for multi-valued and single-valued mappings in a dislocated metric space. The set of generalized y-j weak contractive mappings considered in this paper contains the fam...
Estimation of Beta Regression Model with Applied Study
This paper proposes a regression model where the dependent variable is beta distributed. Therefore the observations of the dependent variable must fall within (0,1) interval. This beta regression model produces two regre...
