A New High Gain Boost Converter Circuit
Journal Title: 河南科技大学学报(自然科学版) - Year 2016, Vol 37, Issue 6
Abstract
In order to convert the low-voltage direct current power to the required high voltage power,a new type of high gain boost converter with coupled inductor was proposed. The traditional inductance was replaced by coupled inductor, and the switch tube was connected in parallel with a voltage boosting module composed of a diode and a capacitor. The voltage stress and current stress were reduced, while the voltage gain was impraved. A simulation model of the new type of boost circuit was built in MATLAB. The simulation results show that the new boost converter circuit has a higher voltage gain, and the voltage and current stresses of the switch tube are smaller.
