A Qos Oriented Cognitive Radio based VHOM Scheme for WIMAX/WIFI Overlay Networks
Journal Title: International Journal of Science and Research (IJSR) - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue 11
Abstract
The integration of WIMAX and WiFi has been a promising approach toward 4G. As a result of this integration I, realize totally different vital problems for the interworking of WIMAX and WiFi networks. Thus I planned a tightly coupled interworking structure and additionally planned VHOM schemes which may keep stations continually being best connected because of ad-hoc mode. An ad-hoc network could be a assortment of wireless mobile nodes wherever communication are often done by victimization intermediate mobile nodes. However during this paper I thought of a technology referred to as cognitive Radio technology that provides communication for providing mobile terminals always being best connected to network and also services user?s special requirements.
Poisson-Gamma Counting Process as a Discrete Survival Model
In this paper a Poisson–Gamma distribution has been proposed, which is obtained by compounding a Poisson distribution with a two parameter Gamma distribution. Here the pmf of the proposed distribution (PGD) is derived. T...
Study of Corelation Between Ultrasonographically Observed Grade 3 Placenta at 36 Weeks Gestation and Fetal and Maternal Outcomes
Current ultrasound assessment of placental calcification relies on Grannum grading. The ultrasonographic appearance of grade III placental maturation, if it occurs before 36 weeks, may signify placental dysfunction and i...
