Systemic lupus nephritis is an autoimmune connective tissue disorder that commonly affects women in the reproductive age group. 80% of women with systemic lupus erythematosis develop lupus nehritis. Pregnancy in any class of lupus nephritis is associated with increase in adverse maternal and fetal outcomes.
