A Review of Legal Justice: Parole in The Indonesian Prison System

Abstract

This research aims to examine analyze and review the parole arrangements in the correctional system in Indonesia. In addition, to study and analyze the implementation of parole in order to ensure legal justice. This research uses normative legal research that focuses on the review or study of positive law. The research approach is a method or way to conduct a study so that researchers get information from various aspects to find the issues they are looking for answers to. In accordance with the type of research, namely normative juridical, the research approach used in this research is the Normative/Statute Approach, Conceptual Approach, conceptual approach and Case Approach. The results of this study indicate that there are regulations regarding parole in the correctional system in Indonesia, but these rules are not in line with their implementation so that solutions need to be given in these problems in order to ensure legal justice in parole in the correctional system in Indonesia.
