Abstract

Three Centuries of the Press in Hungary The Hungarian press has undergone tremendous changes over the last 300 years. Press historian Géza Buzinkay’s latest monograph published in 2016 reveals this exciting story. In his work, the author has a political and social history approach to the history of the Hungarian press. Not only does it deal with the press of national interest and distribution, but it also tries to reveal the main phenomena of rural, minority and emigration press life.
