A study of the impact of institutional shareholder ownership on the accounting-information-based and marketinformation-based criteria (P/B and Tobin's Q ratios)

Abstract
The aim of this study is exploring the impacts of institutional shareholder ownership on the market and accounting information-based criteria. And P/B and Tobin's Q ratios are used for this purpose in this study. The required data have been extracted from the financial statements of the chemical product and medicinal product companies accepted into Tehran Stock Exchange, during 2002-2011. Two models of multivariate regression analysis were used for testing the relationship between the variables.
