A Study on the Queue Length of the State-Dependent of an Unreliable Machine
Journal Title: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF MATHEMATICS TRENDS AND TECHNOLOGY - Year 2014, Vol 7, Issue 1
Abstract
In this paper, we consider a state-dependent queueing system in which the machine is subject to random breakdowns. Jobs arrive at the system randomly following a Poisson process with state-dependent rates. Service times and repair times are exponentially distributed. The machine may fail to operate with probability depending on the number of jobs completed since the last repair. The main result of this paper is the matrix-geometric solution of the steady-state queue length from which many performance measurements such as mean queue length, machine utilization are obtained.

A New Class of Regular Weakly Closed Sets and Functions Using Grills
The purpose of this paper is to introduce and study a new class of regular weakly closed sets and functions in a topological space X , de ned in terms of a grill G on X . Explicit characterization of such sets along with...
Decompositions of Some Types of Supra Soft Sets and Soft Continuity
In this paper we introduce the notion of supra soft topological spaces. We extend the notion of -operation, pre-open soft sets, -open soft sets, semi-open soft sets and -open soft sets to such spaces and study their prop...
On Edge Pair Sum Labeling of Graphs
An injective map f : E(G) → {±1,±2,…,±q} is said to be an edge pair sum labeling of a graph G(p, q) if the induced vertex function f^*:V(G)→Z-{0} defined by f^* (v)=∑_(e∊E_v)▒f(e) is one – one, where E_v denotes the set...
Disks which do not Contain any Zero of a Polynomial
In this paper we find disks which do not contain any zero of a polynomial when the coefficients of the polynomial are restricted to certain conditions.
Contra θgs-Continuous Functions
The aim of this paper is to introduce and study of a new generalization of contra continuity called contra gs-continuous functions utilizing gs-closed set.
