ABOUT TOPONYMS IN “QABUS-NAMEH”

Abstract
This article shows detailed examples of toponyms used in “Qabus-nameh” and gives us general information about the writing. “Qabus-nameh” is written by Onsor-al-Ma’aliKeikavusebn-e Eskandarebn-e Qabusebn-e Vushmagirebn-e Ziyar in XI century. This literary work is the first example of prose which has been written in classic Persian language. It demonstrates author’s role in formation of classical Persian prose, and the impact of his work on the development of both East and West literature. The article gives an account of the history of writing of this work, its publications and translations. Key words:
