Abstract
The plotting of N. Gumilev and P. Bulygin is based on interest in the world of Africa of both writers. African travels are a kind of visiting card of N. Gumilev. For Bulygin is important Gumilev subtext, almost mystical outline of images, plot twists, it is no accident that the finale of each of his novels is fraught with a point, revealing the strange and mysterious world of Abyssinia.
