AC to AC Conversion Using Single Phase Matrix Converter
Journal Title: International Journal of Engineering and Science Invention - Year 2017, Vol 6, Issue 11
Abstract
Indirect AC to AC conversion makes use of a DC linkwhich has severaldisadvantages. Matrix converteroffers a solution to the problems of a DC link by directlyconverting AC to AC with the use of forced commutation of semi-conductor switches such as IGBT and MOSFET. In thispaper, the basic working of a single phase matrix converter, its applications and modulation techniques have been discussed. Computer based simulation using MATLAB/SIMULINK wasperformed and the results have been shown. Matrix converteris an upcomingtechnologythat has much avenue for research.

Observer Design for pressurized pipes with non-constant physical parameters
This paper deals with state estimation on a pressurized water pipe with non-constant physical parameters modeled by nonlinear coupled distributed hyperbolic equations for non- conservative laws with three known boundary...
Zero-shot learning with Fast RCNN and Mask RCNN through semantic attribute Mapping
Machine learning applications increasingly address large and diverse data sets. While this leads to an abundance of some classes of data, it also uncovers objects that defy categorization in previously seen classes. Lear...
Bond Performance of Mild Reinforcing Steel in Fiber Reinforced Cement-Limiting Concrete (FRCLC)
Due to the emissions created during the production of cement, researchers have been developing new mix designs with less cement and comparable performance. One such mix design is called fiber reinforced cement-limiting c...
Fixed-Bed Column Studies on Adsorption of 4-Nitroaniline from Aqueous Solution by Bagasse Fly Ash
Sorptive removal of 4-nitroaniline from aqueous solutions by bagasse fly ash (BFA) was investigated at 303 K under dynamic conditions in a packed bed. The effects of sorbent bed height (Z = 5 - 15 cm), flow rate (Q = 10...
Mechanical Properties of M 25 Grade Concrete Made With Pumice as A Partial Replacement Of Coarse Aggregate
Light weight concrete has become more popular in recent years owing to the tremendous advantages it offers over the conventional concrete. Even light concrete but at the same time strong enough to be used for the structu...
