Accentual characteristics of modem lviv koine

Abstract
The research represents a number of accentual differential characteristics of Lviv koine formed in the conditions of the influence of other languages. During research morphologic criterion has been used. Main characteristics of Lviv accent have been defined: 1) expressive contrast between vocal length and shorlness; 2) active functioning of paroxytone as a speciftc feature of stressing on the background of free stress; 3) variation caused by functioning of doublet forms that belong to dialectic and literary segments; 4) functional and communicative variety in Lviv society. Basic reasons of variation have been traced. Discovered has been speciftc character of accentual characteristics functioning in the communicative environment of Lviv and their spreading throughout Ukraine.
