Abstract

In obituary the main milestones of scientific creativity of Azgar Gataullovich Mukhamadiev – Dr. habil., honored Professor of Kazan University, Сorresponding Ьember of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, prominent numismatist, archaeologist, historian are marked. A significant contribution of the scientist in numismatics and monetary circulation history of Volga Bulgaria and Golden Horde is defined.
