ADDICTIVE CHARACTERISTICS IN THE BOOK FUND OF A. G. GOTALOV-GOTLIB (ON THE MATERIAL OF ODESSA EDITIONS)

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of donative inscriptions in the A. G. GotalovGotlib nominal fund of the Scientific Library of Odessa I. I. Mechnikov National University. Special attention is given to Odessa acquaintances and colleagues of the famous teacher and historian. Most of the time of the pedagogical activity of A. G. Gotalov-Gotlib was held in Odessa. He worked in Odessa schools, took part in the organization of the «Children’s Town named after the Comintern», taught at the University in different periods of his formation: the University of Novorossiysk, Institute of Public Education, Odessa State University. Artemiy Grigorievich collaborated with many of the Odessa teachers (M. I. Gordievskiy, K. P. Dobrolyubskiy, E. A. Zagorovskiy, S. G. Lozinskiy, V. I. Palchinskiy, V. I. Selinov, M. S. Sinitsyn, F. I. Uspenskiy, and S. A. Khakham) and taught in the future known historians, among them A. A. Vinogradova, P. O. Karyshkovskiy, B. T. Rubtsov and others. Colleagues and students of A. G. Gotalov-Gotlib often gave him books and publications of their research, as evidenced by donative inscriptions in the library copies of publications. The composition and topics of the library scientist was determined his pedagogical and scientific activities. The collection of A. G. Gotalov-Gotlib contains valuable publications on the history of public education, pedagogy, which remain relevant and interesting for researchers.
