Abstract

The social protection system provides special services for elder people as a result of an elaborate analyze of their needs, complying their rights established by legal regulations. In every country world wide, the ageing phenomenon is present. The causes of the ageing phenomenon are various, some of the more important being considered the increasing average life span as a consequence of the medical progresses and, also, the population fertility decline.
