Air Pollution-A Public Health Emergency: Time to action

Abstract
A good health can be established in a healthy environment.We can prevent several premature death and diseases through maintaining a healthier environment.But the present scenario has very tragic face. According to WHO, an estimated 12.6 million people died as a result of living or working in an unhealthy environment in 2012 – nearly 1 in 4 of total global deaths. Environmental risk factors, such as air, water and soil pollution, chemical exposure, climate change and ultraviolet radiation, contribute to more than 100 diseases and injuries. Among all these,air pollution is presently a matter of great concern.
