Already the 15th Conference of Young Scientists on Energy Issues (CYSENI) at Lithuanian Energy Institute
Journal Title: Energetika - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 0
Abstract
Believe it or not, but the first steps of the conference of young scientists of Lithuanian Energy Institute (LEI) were done long time ago – back in 2002. It was based on the idea of having our own platform for the young scientists of the Institute to present and share the results of their research, to become acquainted with the work done by their colleagues, to discuss the relevant energy-related issues and to initiate and promote further scientific cooperation among them. And finally, the first conference was organized in 2004. Since 2007, the scope and number of conference participants have been rapidly increasing, and nowadays its abbreviation and title as CYSENI – Conference of Young Scientists on Energy Issues is already known among the young scientists and researchers within the Europe and even outside. Considering the interest and high appraisal among young scientists, the organizers are encouraged to make this conference as the foremost annual event for the young scientists performing research in the energy field in the Baltic Sea region. Relevant researches carried out by the young scientists, high qualification scientific papers and presentations stand out as the most highlighted features of the CYSENI by its participants.
