An Analysis of The Influence of the Chinese Economic Development on the Environment

Abstract

The Chinese economic development has achieved remarkable success in recent decades. However, various environmental problems have gradually become a barrier to the improvement in people’s living conditions and China’s sustainable development. There exist huge disparities between the eastern, middle and western part of China from the perspective of economic development, education, natural resources and the environment. Different development pattern constitutes distinct problems and solutions. This paper aims to analyze the relationship between regional economic development and the environment, and raise suggestions for each specific area. Keywords: economic development, pollutant emission, natural resources.
