Abstract
Having as an ancient past as human history, the wish for prediction about the past has pushed people into new expectations. These expectations are very simple and harmless at first but later in the course of time it has had a very colourful composition. People have never been indifferent to reach the endeavor of the prophecy from stars to the flight of birds, from lines in hands to animal bones and even to the holy books. The endeavors called fortune have gone on keeping alive and one of these practices is ilm-i tefe’ül defined as Quran fortune.
