AN AYURVEDIC WAY OUT TO PARIPLUTA YONIVYAPAD (PELVIC INFLAMMATORY DISEASE)

Abstract

Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is a polymicrobial infection of the upper genital tract. It is primarily found in young sexually active women. Pelvic inflammatory disease should be suspected in at risk patients who present with pelvic or lower abdominal pain and who have cervical motion, uterine or adnexal tenderness. Various allopathic, Ayurvedic and other alternative medicines have been effective to cure PID. Ayurveda, the ancient science has answer to many diseases including Paripluta yonivyapad. Symptoms of Paripluta yonivyapad resembles with PID with main symptom of pelvic pain. In this regard the present review is aimed to provide all the necessary information regarding the effective method for the treatment of PID.
