Analgetyki w podstawowym zespole ratownictwa medycznego

Abstract
Sharp, severe pain is a common and direct reason for calling an emergency medical team. This kind of pain is also an accompanying symptom which each member of an emergency medical team should be able to manage. Each suffering patient should be pharmacologically protected in a proper way. To implement effective analgesic treatment the detailed knowledge about pain is necessary. It is crucial to recognize the type of pain, its origin, intensification and methods of treatment. Well-taken medical history and the assessment of pain intensification with the use of commonly recognized and approved rating scales of pain allow paramedics to implement a suitable therapy from the proper step of the analgesic ladder. The authors of this article intend to explain the need for effective recognition of pain as well as the application of pain rating scales and the use of drugs from the appropriate step of the analgesic ladder in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of 20 April 2016 on emergency medical operations and health benefits other than emergen
