ANALIZA FRECVENŢEI PRODUCERII VIITURILOR PE RÂURILE DIN CÂMPIA ROMÂNĂ DINTRE OLT ŞI ARGEŞ

Abstract

The study of the highfloods frequency on rivers in the considered region was done by using data recorded in 12 hydrological stations for 39 year (1970-2009). The analysis considered monthly, hourly, genesis and the intensity of the highflood. The main results are: the most highfloods are specific to the central part of the area under study; in terms of duration of the event, the floods between 50 and 150 hours cover the highest frequency; considering the distribution during the year, the most numerous floods are specific to March and February.
