Analiza stanu bezpieczeństwa ruchu drogowego z wykorzystaniem narzędzi GIS na przykładzie miasta Olsztyn

Abstract
In the article the subject of road safety is explained on the example of the city of Olsztyn. The authors compare road safety level from last few years and current state described in the planning documents and reports made by other entities responsible for safety in Olsztyn. The article also explains the most important plans contained in planning documents that should improve road safety in Olsztyn. Analyzes where made using GIS tools (Geographic Information System). GIS tools allow to present various phenomena on maps. The authors show some aspects of security, such as most dangerous crossings in Olsztyn using GIS tools. The article also present attitude of society to the level of road safety in Olsztyn.
