Journal Title: International Journal of Social Science And Human Research - Year 2024, Vol 7, Issue 11

Abstract

This paper analyses the intersections between armed conflict, post-conflict reconstruction, and development efforts, including the role of peace-building initiatives. It explores the underlying reasons for armed conflicts, the vulnerabilities of particular population groups during wars, the broad effects on society, and the difficulties in rebuilding following hostilities. It also combines several theoretical models to complete a study and presents policy suggestions for development and lasting peace.
