ANALYSIS AND INTENSIFICATION FACTORS OF INNOVATIVE AC-TIVITY AT UKRAINIAN INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES IN THE REGIONS

Abstract
In a highly competitive global industry innovative activity is a powerful tool to strengthen market position. However, as shown by current realities innovative development was no strong basis for growth in the domestic economy. The article analyzes the innovative activity of domestic industrial enterprises in 2010-2015 in Ukraine in the context of regions in terms of the number of innovative enterprises; companies introducing innovative products; the number of items the introduction of innovative products and processes; the volume of sales of innovative products and innovation costs; distribution of sources in funding innovation and spending on areas of innovation. The dynamics of the analyzed indicators in the Sumy region is revealed. Based on the results of the study, relevant conclusions were drawn and measures were proposed to improve the development of innovative entrepreneurship in Ukraine.
