ANALYSIS MICROSCOPIC METHOD OF DUST PARTICIPATION DEGREE IN EXPLOSIONS

Abstract

The article describes the coal dust sample series taken at the coal mine accident site microscopic analysis method in order to establish the place of the explosion and determine whether the coal dust is involved in the explosion. Along with the traditional visual control of cokes, computerized image processing has been applied, which allows, in addition to physical transformations in particles, to investigate the dynamics of the dispersed composition of dust subjected to the thermal effects of an explosion. To improve the reliability of microscopic analysis, the possibilities of analyzing the minimum particle sizes at various points of control, average values of characteristic sizes, or equivalent particle diameters have been demonstrated. A qualitative correlation of changes in the dust dispersion composition along the damaged opening with changes in the devolatilization residual indicator was carried out. The results of the method proposed testing on a real dust sample array from an emergency site are given.
