Analysis of Information Wars in Ukraine

Abstract

In the article the definition of the term "information war" is investigated, the main information attacks against Ukraine are considered. The reasons for information attacks on the security of enterprises are discussed. The main processes are considered, which contribute to the adoption of decisions as a result of information and analytical activities. In addition, the main objects of destructive information influence were named. The main unsolved problems of guaranteeing information security of Ukraine are analyzed. Also, an analysis was conducted among the main cyber attacks on Ukrainian enterprises and services for 2014-2017. Following the results of the study, the main methods of countering information aggression have been proposed. To improve regulatory and legal frameworks in the field of information security, it is necessary the involving civil society in measures to ensure information security. Now Ukraine needs an establishing its own information security system by introducing measures in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and developing the appropriate regulatory framework. Ukrainian information channel creation in the European information space in order to create a positive imаge and disseminate relevant and reliable information on events in Ukraine has been proposed.
