ANALYSIS OF THE CURRENT STATE OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR HIGHER EDUCATION IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article is devoted to the current state of financial support for functioning of higher educational institutions. Theoretical issues of the financial mechanism formation and tendencies of financing higher education in Ukraine are studied. The article analyzes main indicators of the state and development of the Ukrainian educational system. The statistical survey of main indicators of financing higher education in Ukraine is conducted. The structure of expenditures by sources of funding, form of ownership and functions performed by higher education is studied.
