Analysis on the literature review and development frontier of "carbon lock-in" research based on bibliometrics
Journal Title: Energy Environmental Protection - Year 2024, Vol 38, Issue 3
Abstract
An analysis of the literature review of "carbon lock-in" research would be crucial for promoting low-carbon research. This paper collects Chinese and foreign literature on "carbon lock-in" from 2000 to 2022 and reviews "carbon lock-in" research with a focus on dynamic evolution and lock-out mechanisms. This paper also applies bibliometric analysis software to sort literature and reveal crucial issues using strategic coordinate charts, analyzing dissertation characteristics and keywords to uncover trends. Results show that foreign research on "carbon lock-in" produces a higher volume of publications, team size and cooperation intensity compared to domestic research. The main research direction of domestic "carbon lock-in" research is low-carbon and sustainable development, while foreign research focuses on global climate and energy development. In the future, scholars need to explore the differential influence of regional and industrial factors on carbon lock-in and build a dynamic assessment model integrating industry and regional synergy to promote global carbon emissions reduction.

Short-chain fatty acids from lysis liquid of residual sludge anaerobic fermentation enhanced by microbial electrolysis
Sludge lysis liquid is a highly concentrated solution containing macromolecular organic matter produced during thermal hydrolysis of sludge. Anaerobic digestion is commonly used to achieve degradation conversion and reso...
Improving the quality and efficiency of biological nitrogen removal from domestic wastewater: Current situation and prospects
With the improvement of national and local sewage discharge standards, the upgrading and retrofitting of existing wastewater treatment systems become a major challenging task for wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs). Spec...
Review on transformation behavior of heavy metals and phosphorus in sewage sludge pyrolysis biochar
Large amount sewage sludge (SS) is produced from the wastewater-treatment system, which contains many microorganisms, organic pollutants and a variety of heavy metals. In addition, it also enriches nitrogen, phosphorus,...
Advances in low-temperature flue gas denitrification catalyst research
In coal-fired, cement and waste incineration plants, water vapour and SO_2 contained in the flue gas could easily lead to poisoning and deactivation of the catalyst under low-temperature environments. Therefore, addressi...
Experimental study on fluoride removal from mine water by complexing-induction fluoride removal agent
In ecologically fragile areas of western and northwestern China, where coal mine water is reused as domestic water or discharged into surface water systems after treatment (the discharge concentration of fluoride (F^-) i...
