Abstract
The influence of the religious phenomenon, deeply rooted since the 12th century, and the bourgeoisie with the upper classes generated a society based on economic power. Although the origin of the cuadrillas de ánimas is much discussed by various historians, we could place it during the domination of Byzantium, in the 6th century, which contributed Melismas to the traditional popular music with oriental roots. Although I think, together with other historians, that the most correct option would be to place them in the so-called Brotherhoods and Confraternities of antiquity. It has been very difficult and I have not been able to date the foundation date of this Brotherhood of Souls, native of Campillo. of the Jimenez. After a tour through the various parish archives, the only thing I have been able to obtain are some data that lead me to think that it would date from the end of the XVIII century.
