Antitussive Therapy in Acute Respiratory Diseases in Children

Abstract

The article presents information about the level of effectiveness of the main groups of drugs used in treatment regimens of acute respiratory infections in children. The trend to selection of herbal medicines in the treatment of infectious diseases of the respiratory tract, which manifest with acute and subacute cough, is provided. Characteristics of herbal preparations Eucabal® Balsam and Eucabal® cough syrup are given.
