APPLICATION OF THE EFQM EXCELLENCE MODEL FOR MANAGEMENT OF MOTOR TRANSPORT ENTERPRISES

Abstract
The problems of auto transportation enterprise management have been considered in the article. The purpose of the research is to single out the factors constituting the EFQM Model taking into account the characteristics of motor transport enterprises. Management of motor transport enterprises is a complex multiobjective problem, so the choice and application of the most complex management model is a topical issue. Existing models and approaches to the management of enterprises and organizations are often used to solve the problems concerning certain individual aspects of the enterprise management. Application of the EFQM Excellence Model is explained by the presence of the most part of the criteria which determine the management procedure. This model was developed by the European Foundation for Quality Management and includes 9 components of management criteria; each of them is divided into areas. Application of the EFQM Excellence Model will be possible if the system of factors affecting the motor transport enterprise management process and the results of this process in each of the areas is determined. This article contains a revised system of factors which reveals the main challenges faced by motor transport enterprises in terms of their management effectiveness.
