APPLICATION OF THE SUPER-TWISTING SLIDING MODE CONTROLLERS IN DIRECT FIELD-ORIENTED CONTROL OF SIX-PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR - EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES
Journal Title: Power Electronics and Drives - Year 2018, Vol 2018, Issue 1
Abstract
The paper presents the Direct Field-Oriented Control (DFOC) method of six-phase induction motor with application of the Super-Twisting Sliding Mode algorithm. The mathematical model of the six-phase induction motor has been described. The descriptions of the Space Vector Modulation (SVM) method and the Super-Twisting algorithm have been presented. The DFOC control method with Super-Twisting Sliding Mode controllers has been described. The experimental studies of the DFOC with Super-Twisting controllers have been carried and the results of these studies are presented and discussed.

AN ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORKS APPROACH TO STATOR CURRENT SENSOR FAULTS DETECTION FOR DTC-SVM STRUCTURE
Background: During last few years, fault-tolerant control systems (FTCS) [1] for electric motor drives became a very active research field for many research groups. The proper choice of the fault tolerant control algorit...
FREQUENCY BASED ISLANDING DETECTION METHODS IN POWER ELECTRONIC CONVERTERS
Background The islanding condition may appear in power grid lines to which additional energy sources with power electronic converters have been connected, such as solar panels or wind turbines. It is a hazardous operatin...
STATOR WINDING INTER-TURN SHORT-CIRCUIT MODELLING OF A SQUIRREL-CAGE INDUCTION MOTOR
Background: A mathematical model of a squirrel-cage induction motor with inter-turn short-circuits in stator phases is presented in this paper. Material and methods: In the proposed mathematical model an extent and angul...
FINITE-ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF ACCIDENTAL ENERGIZING OF AN OFF-LINE TURBOGENERATOR
Background: Presented article shows the computation results of accidental off-line turbogenerator energizing. Inadvertent energizing of turbogenerator has been a particular issue in the power plant. The investigated case...
Physical phenomena existing in the turbogenerator during faulty synchronization with inverse phase sequence
Background: Electrical machines Material and methods: Finite element method Results: The great emphasis is placed on the physical phenomena existing the rotor because the measurement of rotor damper bar currents is diffi...
