Application of wavelet analysis for updating Heinrich events age
Journal Title: Геофизический журнал - Year 2015, Vol 37, Issue 1
Abstract
Results of studies of spectral components energy reconstructed in the central part of Greenland air temperature transformed sequence data investigation by using wavelet analysis by the data of ice cores have been presented. Oscillation with fixed period as well as non-stationary oscillations has been revealed. Heinrich events age has been updated. Wavelet analysis allowed to correlate events with concrete climate phenomena and to estimate energy of these phenomena.

Parameters of the fault planes for the Crimean Black Sea region by averaged mechanism of close earthquakes
A modern field of stress of the Crimean Black Sea region was constructed. A method of averaged mechanisms was used to construct the field of stress, which uses the earthquakes of varying intensity, including weak ones th...
Three-dimensional temporal migration according to initial data of areal seismic exploration
Migration methods are traditionally subdivided into two groups depending on carrying out the procedure of summing up the route by the method of common deep point (CDP): before and after summing up (pre- and post-stack mi...
Evolution of melts and fluids as a reflection of the crust and mantle formation by the example of the Middle Denieper mega-block of the Ukrainian Shield. Archean
The scheme of geodynamic process during the production of granite-greenstone area (GGA) of the Middle Dnieper mega-block (MDMB) of the Ukrainian Shield has been presented. It reflects the change of the lithosphere thickn...
Velocity sections of the upper mantle under the oceans
We constructed the models of the distribution of longitudinal seismic waves velocities for the upper mantle oceanic regions: mid-ocean ridges (MOR), basins, trenches, island arcs and coastal ridges, back-arc troughs (BAT...
The results of electromagnetic studies of the Bragin-Loev ledge and the Chernihiv block of the DDD
The distribution of geomagnetic variations and the electric field on the Earth's surface was obtained as a result of the modern experimental observations conducted in 2013 (10 points) in the northwestern part of the Dnie...
