APPLYING NEW SCIENTOMETRIC INDICATORS TO EVALUATE THE SCIENTIFIC PERFORMANCE OF CHEMISTRY GROUP FROM VALACHIA UNIVERSITY OF TARGOVISTE
Journal Title: Journal of Science And Arts - Year 2011, Vol 17, Issue 4
Abstract
The paper describes different new indicators measuring research output by application to Chemistry Department of the Faculty of Sciences and Arts from Valahia University of Targoviste. We have also analyzed the Hirsch indices calculated with different relations proposed in literature. We have compared the data obtained in our study with the results of other studies done in other universities and circumstances.

STUDY ABOUT EVALUATION OF HUMAN EXPOSURE TO HAND-TRANSMITTED VIBRATION
This study investigates the perception of vibrations at the fingertip of the human hand. The study involved 10 adult male subjects, constant-velocity sinusoidal excitations at different discrete frequencies in the range...
ELECTRICAL PROPERTIES OF ARGEMONE SEEDS AT VARIABLE MOISTURE CONTENTS
Dielectric constant and dielectric loss of argemone seeds have been measured over the range of temperature 30ºC-45ºC with varying frequency from 5 kHz to 10MHz. The effects of change in moisture level on dielectric prope...
STUDIES REGARDING THE FORMATION AND TEMPORAL DYNAMICS OF BACTERIAL BIOFILMS ON THE HYDROPHILE SURFACE OF GLASS IN STATIC AND DYNAMIC CONDITIONS
The biofilms represent communities of prokaryotes and eukaryotes that are formed in different types of hydrophile and hydrophobe surfaces determining the occurrence of microfouling, biocorrosion and the reduction of mate...
ON THE MIRAKJAN-FAVARD-SZÁSZ BIVARIATE APPROXIMATION FORMULA
In the present paper we establish the form of remainder term associated to the Mirakjan-Favard-Szász bivariate approximation formula, using the divided differences.
BIOLOGICAL CONTINOUS MODELS. THE OPTIMALITY OF THE LOTKA-VOLTERRA MODEL
This paper contains a particular point of view about the evolution of the Lotka-Volterra models when a disturbing external factor is present.
