基于ArcIMS的台风信息发布系统的设计与实现

Abstract
目前，台风信息常以图形和文字的形式在Internet上发布，以这种形式发布信息存在与客户进行交互的功能不足，图形不能根据用户的请求实时生成，且很少有查询分析功能等缺陷，针对这一问题，本文提出了以WebGIS的形式发布台风信息，这样即能利用Internet的信息传播功能，又能利用GIS强大的查询分析功能，实现动态的、交互性强的又具有查询分析功能的信息发布。最后,本文在综合比较ArcIMS胖客户端和瘦客户端的特点，考虑负载平衡的前提下，选择ArcIMS的胖客户端模式设计和建立了台风信息发布系统。
