Asimptotics of free vibrations of anisotropic strip

Abstract
Free vibrations of strip which has general anisotropy in his plane are investigated, then one of the faces is rigidly fastened, the opposite free, or rigidly fastened. Characteristic equations for determining frequencies of free vibrations are derived by the asymptotic method. It′s proved that two types of own vibrations are arising in the strip. But in contrast to isotropic and ortotropic strips vibrations are not purely shear and purely longitudinal. The forms of own vibrations are determined. It′s shown that for each case eigenfunctions formed ortonormalized system.
