Aspects of existing defense planning documents on the ways of the military formations arming

Abstract
The existing system of defense planning and changes, which are carried out in a new cycle, are analyzed.The search for links connected with such changes and influence on the ways of arming military formations is carried out. A matrix has been developed that links the subjects and defense planning documents. The existence of a scientific basis of the adopted normative and legal acts that are aimed at strengthening national security has been researched. The discrepancies between the defense planning documents and their possible negative impact on the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to EU norms and rules in order, to carry out systemic reforms, to the level acceptable for NATO membership are revealed. Appropriate proposals are made in the area of ensuring national security.
