ASPECTS REGARDING THE DEVELOPMENTS OF COMPOUND SURFACES
Journal Title: Journal of Industrial Design and Engineering Graphics - Year 2017, Vol 12, Issue 1
Abstract
The compound surfaces which form the technical parts of metal woks are very diverse. Their practical production involves solving certain geometrical problems through the methods of descriptive geometry. This article wishes to emphasize the importance of knowing and applying descriptive geometry notions by presenting the surface developments of some technical parts formed of combined surfaces.

VIRTUAL MODEL OF A ROLLER CONVEYOR INTEGRATED INTO A LOGISTIC FLOW
In this article is presented, with the help of graphics, a logistic flow for palletizing and wrapping operations. The loaded pallets are transported by means of a roller conveyor. Creating the virtual model for the conve...
COMPUTER GRAPHICAL REPRESENTATION, IN TREBLE ORTHOGONAL PROJECTION, OF A POINT
In the stages of understanding and study, by students, of descriptive geometry, the treble orthogonal projection of a point, creates problems in the situations in that one or more descriptive coordinates are zero. Starti...
HOW TO ACHIEVE A GRAPHIC LANGUAGE IN A SIGNAGE SYSTEM
This paper presents the importance of a signage system to inform and guide with a purpose: to make useful an activity. It is a special role of graphics to connect people to a system which has to be clear and legible. Alo...
FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF STRESSES DISTRIBUTIONS ON THE SHAFTS AND THE HOUSING OF A HELICAL GEAR REDUCER
The design of helical speed reducer is mainly a process based on analytical and empirical equations. The complexity of the product imposes a big number of empirical factors to be used in calculus, which often varies with...
SPECTRAL ANALYSIS OF THE VARIOUS COMPONENTS OF AN AUTO CATALYST
This paper presents a study reaction comparison who was carried out in a glass continuous- flow reactor at atmospheric pressure. The inlet gas contained 8.1 vol. % CO in Ar (Messer MG Chimco Gas). The WGS reaction was ca...
