Aspekty logistyki w przedsiębiorstwie lotniczym na przykładzie PLL LOT

Abstract
Logistic management generally consists in forming strategies of logistic activities, planning, organising, performing, motivating and controlling due to the principle of logistic functioning, i.e. in a way effecting and minimising the global costs of materials' physical flow and storage and appropriate information from the point of acquisition to consumption in order to best satisfy the client's (consumer's) needs. In spite of the fact that the idea of logistic management is mostly associated with production, it may be also attributed to the transport activity of an aviation company that should be characterised by high standard of passengers' transport and qualitative guarantees of goods transport. The essential aspects of logistic are discussed in the article on the example of the Polish Airlines LOT.
