The exclusion criteria included uncertainty about gestational age, multiple gestations, and bed rest during gestation period. The data were collected through questionnaires. The results were analyzed by the statistical methods including chi-square, Fisher’s exact test, analysis of variance, and multivariate logistic regression. According to the results of the present research, mean age of the women and mean age of their gestations were 27±3 years and 32±4 weeks, respectively. As far as physical activity was concerned, 7.3% of the women were at an appropriate level. Here, regardless of the financial conditions of the families, with the increase in the education level women, the rate of physical activity increased significantly (p<0.001). The results of the research indicate that the physical activity level of women during gestation period is low.
