Journal Title: Codrul Cosminului - Year 2009, Vol 15, Issue 1

Abstract

Into the first decade of XXth century, the political life from the Duchy of Bukovina is characterised by continuous fights within the National Romanian Party. Aurel Onciul ̉s entrance to the province’s public scene produced new reorientations inside the Romanian National Movement. His conflict with Iancu Flondor between 1902-1904 represented one of the most important events until the Great Unification of Romanian Kingdom.
